6 Things I never do now Im a Mum...

Don't know about you but since becoming a mum my life has changed dramatically. There are now a lot of things i used to do that now I wouldn't think of doing.

Now that i am a mum I never,

1. Stay up later than 9:00pm, even on a weekend Guys, lol.

2. Wear a bodycon dresses *Shudder*

3. Go on spontaneous days out, I need a plan and to make sure my daughter is in a happy mood, no one wants a day out with a grumpy toddler.

4. Drink alcohol, unless it's a special occasion I'm staying sober, I can't handle the hangover especially with a child.

5. Make sure my hair and makeup are done of a weekend, i'm going au natural, whos got time for make up?

6. Wear high heels, it's comfort of style all the way with me now.

  1. Haha, have to agree, the world is not ready to see my post baby body stuffed into a bodycon dress...in fact, I'm not sure I'm ready to see that! X

  2. use the bathroom in peace? I have to disagree with No 1, after 9pm was the only time i had for myself to catch up with ironing, watching tv and having a relaxing soak in the bath

  7. Definitely true on the early days. My children are 5 and 9 now so I can stay up later although still nothing like my pre baby days. I still don't wear heels or make up often. Who has the time? I'm a converse girl all the way. #bigpinklink Lifeinthemumslane

  12. I totally get this post, although now my kids are a bit older, it's 10.30pm or sometimes even 11pm!! Shock! So many things change when you have children. There are a few thing I'll never want back though, heels have always been the devil and my sleep will always come first before anything! Thanks for linking up with us! #bigpinklink

  14. Number 1 is my life. Aside from last night (I got stuck right into Series 1 of Happy Valley - have you watched it? My god I'm addicted) I'm in bed post watershed every single night. Bodycon dresses? No way Jose!!! I love this and am in complete agreement with you. #bigpinklink

  15. This is great. I would never wear a bodycon dress and I go to bed between 9-10 pm! Can totally relate to most of these

  17. The same here, I remember when 9pm used to be early, the whole evening ahead of me to drink copious amounts of wine. Now it means I start to panic slightly thinking I must stop whatever I'm doing and get myself to bed, or I really will be sorry in the morning!

  18. I remember the days when going to the loo without someone banging on the door asking what I was doing counted as living the dream!

  19. 1) I never lie in past 8:30am (thats only if my husband gets up with our son).
    2) I never read more than a chapter in a book because I fall asleep or get disturbed.
    Oh and i've NEVER worn a body con dress - pre-baby or post-baby! #BloggerClubUK

  20. I never just pop to the shops. I can't chuck on anything I like as I have to be able to breastfeed in it. I never get to just go for a quick drink after work or anything - I miss that! And bodycon dresses will never be seen on my body again, I fear. Great post! #BloggerClubUK

  26. I would say all of these are probably on my list too! Its funny how much changes once you have children, but how little you are actually bothered by it :-) Thanks for sharing on #MarvMondays. Emily

  27. Yep can relate to all of these. I very rarely wear high heels unless for work, but then I always have a pair of flats in the car incase I need to pick dinner up on the way home. Sleep wise since finding blogging I have noticed I don't seem to need to sleep so early but that wasn't the case before... damn those FB threads :). Ive not been drinking because I am pregnant but I can relate to not drinking much, although at the moment I feel like I want it and its been so long I can't remember what a hangover is. Although I am sure the first time post birth I get one I will revert to the small glass of red every now and again limit!! Thank you for joining us at #BloggerClubUK hope to see you again this week x
